General Pest Control

We specialize in providing routine preventative and maintenance treatments for nearly every common pest a southwestern Pennsylvania home or business owner is likely to encounter. All of our treatments involve spraying to combat countless insects, such as spiders, ants, mosquitos, ticks, fleas, cockroaches, beetles, bed bugs, wasps, hornets, stink bugs, earwigs, silverfish, centipedes, millipedes, crickets, mites, moths, flies, and many more! Our treatments are also safe for people and pets and offer a long-lasting residual, meaning they remain effective and continue working long after being applied. We also sweep eaves, apply granules and powders, leave traps, and take other actions, as needed, as part of our general pest management routine. Our quarterly maintenance plan is by far our most popular package, and it’s what we strongly recommend to all residential and commercial clients.

Rodents

Whether your home or business is older or new, there’s a very good chance you’ve come across mice, voles, moles, rats or other rodents at some point. Mice and rats tend to seek shelter and the food left out by humans and are very good at lurking around in structures without being detected. Aside from carrying disease, rodents have a tendency of chewing wires, leaving droppings in usable areas, multiplying quickly, and causing several other problems that plague property owners. Outside the structure, voles may even cause quite a bit of yard or garden damage by tunneling through soil or chewing vegetation, often impacting large portions of neighborhoods. Fortunately, we know how to effectively deal with all of these pesky critters, and it’s no surprise that most of our clients require our rodent control services as part of their treatment plan.

Wood-Destroying Insects

While most pests may be a nuisance and are certainly not welcome in our homes or businesses, few cause actual structural damage that could result in extensive and costly repairs. Termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees and wood-boring beetles do just that, and it’s imperative to identify and effectively treat these invaders as quickly as possible. Termites alone cause billions of dollars worth of damage in the U.S. each year, and their presence may not be obvious until substantial damage has already been done. At Hill Pest Control, we specialize in performing WDI inspections and treatments to stop wood destroying insects in their tracks and prevent further damage or infestation. WDI issues often need to be dealt with immediately, and you can rest assured that at HPC we will be there when it matters most. As the partner company of Hill Property Inspections, we are also able to quickly address any WDI issues identified by our inspection team for our valued inspection clients – and at a discounted rate!
